Making dua to Allah is not an option, but a necessity: “There is nothing more dear to Allah Ta’ala than a servant making dua to him.”

Calling in the Name of the Lord and the mercifull

The Prophet (SAW) said:

“Dua is worship.”  Then he recited the verse (interpretation of the meaning): “And your Lord said: Invoke Me [i.e. believe in My Oneness (Islamic Monotheism) and ask Me for anything] I will respond to your (invocation)…” “Whoever does not ask of Allah, He becomes angry with him.” “Dua is the essence of Ibadah (worship).” “”The invocation of any one of you is granted [by Allah] as long as he does not show impatience by saying “I have invoked Allah but my request has not been answered.”

“Any muslim who supplicates to Allah in a Du’a which contains no sin breaking of kinship, Allah will give him one of three things: either his Du`a will be immediately answered or, it will be saved for him in the hereafter, or it will turn away an equivalent amount of evil (from him)” The companions said “so we will ask for more” he replied, “Allah is more [generous].” “Ask and you will be given, ask you will be given”

“the Prophet, salAllahu alayhi wasalam, was asked “which Du’a is more heard (by Allah)?” The Prophet, salAllahu alayhi wasalam, said, “The Du’a during the last part of the night and after the Fard prayers.” “Du’a is a weapon of a believer, a pillar of religion, and a light of the heavens and the earth.” “Nothing prevents predestination except Du’a, and nothing stretches the age except righteousness.”

“the Prophet, salAllahu alayhi wasalam, was asked “which Du’a is more heard (by Allah)?” The Prophet, salAllahu alayhi wasalam, said, “The Du’a during the last part of the night and after the Fard prayers.” “Three supplications will not be rejected (by Allah (Ta’ala)), the supplication of the parent for his child, the supplication of the one who is fasting, and the supplication of the traveler).”

QURAN
§

“Say (O Muhammad (SAW) to the disbelievers): My Lord pays attention to you only because of your invocation to Him. But now you have indeed denied (Him). So the torment will be yours for ever (inseparable permanent punishment).”
(Quran, Surah Al-Furqaan, Verse 77)

“And your lord said, invoke me and I will respond to your invocation.” [Surah 40:60]

“Invoke your lord with humility and in secrecy, for God loveth not those who trespass beyond bounds.” [Surah 7:55]

“So invoke Allah making your worship pure for him.”
[Surah 40:14]

“Invoke Him only, making your religion sincere to him.”
[Surah 7: 29]

AND DON'T FORGET TO PRAY ON THE PROPHET:

Allahumma salli ala Muhammad,
Wa ala ali Muhammad, Kama
sallayta ala Ibrahim, Wa ala ali
Ibrahim, Innaka hamidun majid
Allahumma Barik ala Muhammad
Wa ala ali Muhammad Kama,
barakta ala Ibrahim, Wa ala ali
Ibrahim Innaka hamidun majid

English translation:
O Allah, send prayers on Muhammad
and on the family of Muhammad,
as You sent prayers upon Ibrahim
and on the family of Ibrahim
You are indeed worthy of Praise
full of Glory.
O Allah, send blessings on Muhammad
and on the family of Muhammad
as You sent blessings upon Ibrahim
and on the family of Abraham
You are indeed worthy of Praise,
full of Glory

Bi Ismi Allah Arahman Araheem

“Whoever was afflicted with grief and distress and says (see the following Dua), Allah, the Exalted and Ever-Majestic, will remove his grief and will change his sorrow into happiness.” It was said, “O Messenger of Allah! (Do) we have to learn these words?” He said, “Yes, whoever hears them should learn them.”

“O Allah, I am your slave, the son of your slave. My forelock is in Your Hand. Your judgment of me is inescapable. Your trial of me is just. I am invoking You by all the names that You call Yourself, that You have taught to anyone in Your creation, that You have mentioned in Your Book, or that You have kept unknown. Let the Qur’an be delight of my heart, the light of my chest, the remover of my sadness and the pacifier of my worries.” (Source: Musnad Ahmad # 1/391)

Amin and prayers on the prophet and his family, salute and salutation

La ilaha illa Anta none has the right to be worshipped but You O Allah, Glorified and Exalted are You above all that evil they associate with You. Truly, I have been of the wrong-doers
لَّا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ

CORANIC STORY OF THE PROPHET YUNUS 'S DOUAA
*********************************************************

“Was there any town that believed (after seeing the punishment), and its faith saved it Except the people of Yunus; when they believed, We removed from them the torment of disgrace in the life of the world, and permitted them to enjoy for a while.” (Surah Yunus, 10:98)

And (remember) Dhun-Nun (Prophet Yunus), when he went off in anger (this means: “Anger towards his people.)” (Surah Yunus)

“and (he) imagined that We shall not punish him!” (Surah Yunus)

“Then he (agreed to) cast lots, and he was among the losers.” (Surah As-Saaffaat 37:141).

“… he cried through the depths of darkness (saying): “There is no God but You, Glorified be You! Truly, I have been of the wrongdoers.”(Surah Al Anbiya, 21:87)

“So `We answered his call, and delivered him from the distress. (This means that `We brought him forth from the belly of the fish and from that darkness.’)”

“And thus We do deliver (save) the believers.” (Al Anbiya 21:87)
